Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for the provision of ground maintenance services, safe and efficient operations of mowing machinery to ensure our client’s landscaped grounds are maintained as per the site schedule and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

 

  •    Operate tractors and slashing equipment to clear grass, weeds, and brush.
  •   Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on tractors and slashers.
  •    Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
  •    Work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  •    Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment used.
  •    Collaborate with other team members to ensure job sites are clean and safe.
  •    Report maintenance and repair issues to the area supervisor.
  •  Understand and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies.
  •    Follow written instructions, verbal direction and procedures to perform work
  •    Challenge any instructions that you believe places anyone or the environment at risk.
  •    Take personal responsibility to protect the health and safety of people or the environment.
     

Desired Skills and Experience

SELECTION CRITERIA:

 

ESSENTIALS:

  • Class C Driver’s License.
  • Proven experience operating tractors and slashing equipment.
  • Ability to work under supervision and as a team member.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
  • A satisfactory National Police Security Check Report.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Be able to perform manual work for long
