Job Description
Job Overview: Responsible for the provision of ground maintenance services, safe and efficient operations of mowing machinery to ensure our client’s landscaped grounds are maintained as per the site schedule and specifications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Cut edges with hand and whipper snipper.
• Remove litter from garden beds and driveways.
• Tasks to be carried out in a manner that causes the least inconvenience to customers, staff and the general public.
• Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer’s
recommendations and the SNT operating procedures
• Follow written verbal direction and procedures to perform work.
• Challenge any instructions that you believe places anyone or the environment at risk.
• Take personal responsibility to protect the health and safety of people or the environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
SELECTION CRITERIA:
ESSENTIALS:
Ability to work under supervision and as a team member.
Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
A satisfactory National Police Security Check Report.
Be physically able to perform the duties of the position
Be able to perform manual work for long periods outdoors
Class C Driver’s Licence (manual).
DESIRABLE:
Certificate I or equivalent qualification in horticulture.
