Role Responsibilities -
• Mow Lawns, cut edges with hand and ride on mowers (front deck & Ztrack) and whipper snipper.
• Planting garden beds and landscape maintenance
• Remove litter from garden beds and driveways.
• Prune shrubs and plants and remove dead branches and leaves.
• Fertilising, mulching and maintaining the health of all plants with identification and prevention of diseases
• Use of spraying equipment like backpack sprayer, knapsack sprayer and motorised spraying equipment, to control weeds, pests and insects.
• General maintenance tasks such as raking and shovelling ·
• Tasks to be carried out in a manner that causes the least inconvenience to customers, staff and the general public.
• Temporary warning signs placed when required.
• Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and the SNT operating procedures · Report maintenance and repair issues to the area supervisor. Understand and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies.
• Follow written instructions, verbal direction and procedures to perform work.
• Challenge any instructions that you believe places anyone or the environment at risk.
• Take personal responsibility to protect the health and safety of people or the environment.
