JOB OVERVIEW
Coordinate grounds maintenance and gardening services operations. Manage the day-to-day human and operational resources. Actively pursue and support the acquisition of new gardening services contracts. Lead and promote the implementation of integrated management systems for Quality, Safety, Health and the Environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:
- Manage the grounds maintenance and gardening services activities.
- Lead and direct teams of grounds maintenance and gardening services personnel.
- Coordinate and verify each worker's competency in the workplace. Arrange for other required training.
- Plan, schedule, monitor and report all requirements in consultation with Grounds Manager to meet contract time commitments and maximise resource utilisation.
- Allocate work and provide direction to Supervisors on specific work requirements.
- Organise and direct the work of subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.
